What this policy covers
This policy explains what information J&S Vacaville Insulation Services collects when you visit our website, call us or send us a request, and what we do with it. It covers every page of the site, starting with our home page.
We're a local insulation contractor in Vacaville, CA. We collect only what we need to answer your questions, schedule an estimate and do the work. We don't sell your information to anyone.
Information you give us
When you fill out the form on our contact page, call (707) 452-3285 or email us, we keep what you share. That's usually your name, phone number, email, the address of the house and a note about the job, such as a hot upstairs room or a drafty crawl space.
Our contact form runs on an outside form service, so what you type into it is stored by that service and sent to us. We use it only to reach you about your request.
If we come out for an estimate or do a job, we may also keep notes and photos of your attic, walls or crawl space, so we can price the work and refer back to it later.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours may record basic details about each visit. These can include your browser type, device, the pages you viewed, how long you stayed and the site that sent you to us.
We may use analytics tools to collect this. They show us which pages people read and which they skip, so we can make the site more useful. We don't use this information to find out who you are.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser saves when you visit a site. Ours may use them to keep the site working properly and to count visits for analytics.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work for reading pages and contacting us, though some features may not behave quite the same.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to you, set up and carry out estimates, schedule our crew, send invoices and follow up after a job. We also use it to answer any questions you have about work we've already done.
We use visit information only to understand how the site is used and to fix or improve it. We won't add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.
When we share it
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, such as our form service, website host, analytics provider and the tools we use for scheduling and billing. They get only what they need to do that work for us.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. We don't sell or rent your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep contact requests for as long as it takes to answer them and follow up. If you become a customer, we keep job records for as long as we need them for warranty questions, taxes and our own business records.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Just call or use our contact page, and we'll take care of it once we've confirmed the request is really from you.
California residents may have more rights under state privacy law, such as the right to know what's collected and to say no to its sale. We don't sell personal information, and we'll honor any request you make under those rights. We won't treat you differently for making one.
Keeping your information safe
We use reasonable steps to protect what you send us, and we limit who can see it to the people who need it for your job. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send payment card numbers or passwords through the form or email.
Children's privacy
Our site is meant for homeowners and adults arranging work on a property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the way we run the site or the business changes. The current version will always be on this page, and continuing to use the site means you accept it.
How to raise a privacy concern
If you have a question or a concern about your information, call us at (707) 452-3285, any day from 7 AM to 10 PM, or reach us through our contact page. We'll look into it and get back to you.
